A.C. Williams–Style Cast Iron Coupe Toy, c.1920s, 6-Inch Nickel Wheel Model
A charming unmarked cast iron coupe toy, strongly attributed to A.C. Williams Co., Ravenna, Ohio, circa 1920s–30s. Cast in two solid halves joined by a central post screw, this 6-inch coupe features nickel-plated spoked wheels, a visored roof, and a door-mounted spare-tire relief—a hallmark of Williams’ smaller-scale automobiles. The original turquoise-blue finish has mellowed into a warm bronze patina over time, a testament to its near-century of survival.
Condition
Good, with age-appropriate wear and patina throughout. Wheels are fully functional; minor oxidation and light paint remnants consistent with age and use.
