Step back into the dawn of the American automobile with this original Arcade Manufacturing Co. cast iron Model T–style toy car, made in Freeport, Illinois during the early–mid 1920s. Clearly marked “Arcade MFG Co” with mold numbers “3” and “1,” this piece reflects Arcade’s reputation for durable construction and straightforward, honest design. The car features classic Model T proportions—arched fenders, spoked wheels, a detailed grille—and includes its removable cast driver figure, a hallmark detail collectors look for.
Condition
In good condition with signs of use and age-appropriate wear. Paint loss, surface wear, and oxidation are present and consistent with age. The paint appears original. No major breaks observed, and the removable driver figure is intact. Please refer to photos for full details.
