Arcade 1933–34 Cast Iron Ford V-8 Sedan — Original Paint & Tires
A true classic of American toy history, this Arcade cast iron Ford V-8 sedan dates to the golden age of 1930s toy manufacturing. Modeled after the sleek styling of Ford’s early V-8 automobiles, this sturdy 6½-inch car captures the confident lines and elegance of its full-size inspiration. Cast in two solid halves and finished in original red paint with black trim, it features embossed details including a side-mounted spare, curved fenders, and twin headlamps that defined Arcade’s realism of the period.
Still rolling on its original white rubber tires, this early example bears the factory mold mark “5” beneath. The subtle wear, flaked paint, and cracked rubber testify to its near-century journey—an honest, untouched survivor that embodies the enduring craftsmanship of Depression-era American toy making. A conversation piece equally at home in a toy collection or vintage décor setting.
