Measuring an impressive 9 1/2 inches long, this substantial toy features a seated driver, dramatic open-wheel racing form, and exposed engine detailing that reflects the public’s fascination with speed and early motorsports.
The car is marked “1594,” a casting number documented on Hubley racer components—most commonly found on wheel molds—supporting the attribution to Hubley’s large racing car series, including examples often referred to as the No. 5 racer.
