A bold survivor from the early days of American toy manufacturing, this cast iron four-door sedan is attributed to the A.C. Williams Company, circa 1930. With its bright orange-and-black enamel finish and white-rimmed wheels, it perfectly captures the optimism and machine-age styling of prewar motoring.
Unlike Arcade’s two-piece bodies, this model is cast in one solid form—a hallmark of Williams’ rugged construction—and features fender-mounted lamps, flat slab doors, and simple disc wheels. These early toys were built to last, and this example still rolls true nearly a century later. The combination of sculptural heft, vibrant color, and vintage charm makes it a standout display piece for collectors of early 20th-century Americana. Comparable 6½" A.C.
