Measuring 7 inches long and marked Arcade Mfg Co on the underside, this early automobile toy captures the charm and innovation of America’s motoring boom. The piece features its original black paint, a nickel-finished driver at the wheel, and spoked metal wheels that still roll smoothly nearly a century later. Details like the louvered hood, mesh grille, and distinctive roof visor echo the real Model T sedans of the era, proving Arcade’s unmatched attention to realism.
Arcade toys were the “Cadillacs” of their day—built tough for play but elegant enough to impress. Produced before the company ceased toy making in 1941, authentic Arcade vehicles have become touchstones of early American toy design.
