Step back to the roaring 1920s with this Arcade Manufacturing Co. cast iron Ford Model T Coupe, a delightful miniature of America’s most beloved car. Produced in Freeport, Illinois, Arcade toys were prized for their solid construction and lifelike charm — and this 6½-inch coupe captures that spirit perfectly. Finished in deep black enamel with red-and-cream disc wheels, it’s a model of vintage motoring style, right down to the louvered hood and crisp radiator front.
Underneath, the casting bears the proud “ARCADE” mark, an assurance of authenticity that collectors know well. The car’s satisfying heft (1 lb 11 oz) and clean, period form confirm this as an original — not a later reproduction. Often nicknamed the “Tulip Body Coupe” for its gently flared sides, it represents one of Arcade’s most iconic early automotive toys.
