Two vintage metal Fodeco storage boxes for 35mm slides; Model 255, made in Roseland, NJ. One box is only for storage, and the other has a viewer that illuminates the slide from behind. It still lights up. The storage boxes together contain over 120 old color slides; according to the hand-written notes made in the indexes in the lids, they’re from Texas in the 1940s. There are photos of street scenes, livestock, parades, cars and trucks from the 40s, and more. A very fun glimpse back into the past.

Rust on both metal slide files.
Some slides are still clear, and some slides have varying degrees of degradation.
