Harry Benjamin Mimbres Style Pottery Bowl

Handmade pottery bowl featuring a Mimbres pottery design. Signed and dated by the artist, “Benjamin 94”. Carefully crafted, and lightweight; displays beautifully on a shelf.

About the Artist: Harry Benjamin was a well-known Silver City artist whose work included paintings, ceramics, sculptures, and Mimbres-style pottery. His famous studio, named “What’s A Pot Shop?” opened in Silver City NM in 1982. Benjamin was involved with the Silver City Museum, Western New Mexico University, the Cobre Schools, the Mimbres Region Arts Council, and many other art organizations. He was awarded the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts in 2008.
