Description

Susi Nagoda-Bergquist Ceramic Coyote Sculpture

  • Rustic Carved Display Included
  • Head is Removable

Handmade signed ceramic sculpture by Native American artist Susi Nagoda-Berquist. The very thoughtful-looking coyote is wrapped in a native-patterned blanket. Signed “Coyote” on the front, and “Susi Nagoda Berquist 99” on the back. As is customary for some of her sculptures, the coyote’s head is removable, sitting inside the opening like a stopper in a bottle. It can be repositioned from side to side.

Artist Biography: Susi Nagoda-Bergquist is a Native American artist from San Simon, Arizona. Her work reflects a unique ability to blend the traditional symbolism of her Native American culture with her own warm and personal contemporary vision. Her paintings, ceramics, etchings and engravings are widely collected across the country, and her work is held in many museum collections in the US, Japan and Germany.

Condition:
