About the Artist:
Miro Kenarov and his wife, Maria Kenarova, are Bulgarian-born artists currently residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Both artists are professionally trained and specialize in different art media, yet they frequently create collaborative works. Their collaboration involves combining fragments of Miro’s paintings, which are printed on canvas, with ceramic panels crafted by Maria.
In 1989, the fall of the Berlin Wall opened new opportunities for the couple. That same year, their son was born. Driven by their adventurous spirit, they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where Miro pursued a specialization in fine art lithography at the Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico.
Today, many years after their arrival in the "Land of Enchantment," Miro and Maria are integral members of the vibrant artist community in Santa Fe.
