About the Artist:
"From the time I was a young boy I enjoyed things that were imagined as much as what was real . . . a total daydreamer you might say." - Wess
Wess discovered his passion for art at a young age. Encouraged by a junior high teacher who appreciated his talent, Wess pursued art, eventually mastering the airbrush. His journey took him from painting his friends' cars in Bakersfield to becoming a prominent surfboard artist in San Diego. Working at the Pacific Beach Air Brush Shop, Wess developed his skills and became known for his unique airbrush techniques. His career included significant stints at Figi Graphics, where his cast paper art gained widespread popularity, and at Autoworks International, where he contributed to custom car designs.
Wess's artistic heroes include Salvador Dali and early airbrush pioneers. His goal remains simple: to continue creating art that brings joy to people.
