Charles Lanier, born in Yugoslavia in 1938, has become renowned for his extraordinary sense of color and masterful technique. Lanier moved to Paris in 1958, where he studied as a free student at the prestigious Beaux-Arts. His formal education in the French school of art laid a strong foundation for his career, which he began in earnest in 1961. In 1969, Lanier emigrated to the United States, where he continued to develop his unique style, blending the techniques he acquired in France with new influences from his experiences in America.
Throughout his prolific career, Lanier exhibited his work in numerous galleries across the United States, including the esteemed Palm Springs Gallery. His paintings, characterized by their emotional depth, exquisite use of color, and thoughtful composition, have captivated art enthusiasts and collectors alike. Lanier's ability to combine traditional techniques with contemporary elements has earned him significant acclaim and a lasting legacy in the art world.
