19th Century Walnut Cabinet with Marble Top
This 19th-century walnut cabinet offers both practicality and charm with its solid wood construction and classic design. Featuring a removable beveled marble top that is 0.70 inches thick, the cabinet exudes a sturdy yet refined appearance. Inside, the cabinet boasts ten dovetail, felt-lined drawers, providing ample storage. The top two drawers include removable dividers for added convenience. The paneled back and doors, along with the original locks and key, reflect the craftsmanship of the period. The cabinet is assembled with flathead screws, consistent with furniture construction techniques of the era.
Condition
The cabinet is in good condition, showing signs of use and age-appropriate wear. The left door does not close flush, and there are small stains and minor chips on the marble top. Additionally, there are natural splits on the right and left sides, which are typical for wood furniture of this age.
