Junghans Westminster Chime Mahogany Bracket Mantle Clock
This clock was made in Germany by The Junghans Clock Company. The case is made of beautiful mahogany and is in excellent shape. It features an 8-day Westminster chime movement, playing Westminster chimes every quarter hour and counting the hour all on rods. The brass plate on the front has decorative elements with a king in each corner, and the middle has the Junghans name. The classic dial ring includes black Roman numerals, Arabic five-minute markers, and intricate decor in between. The top is adorned with a brass handle. On the back, there is a silent feature just above the door latch. The movement is stamped with the Junghans logo along with W200/100. The clock is stamped with the year made, 1948, on the bottom.
