About the Artist:
CC grew up in Oklahoma and started creating small sculptures out of the local red clay and pastoral scenes from, moss, twigs and pebbles. Along the road to her love of painting she studied interior design, the healing arts and earned a degree in Family Relations and Child Development. Moving to NM in early 2000 began another shift in her life. Inspired by the beauty of the desert southwest she began another career as an artist. After a decade of solo and group exhibitions and regional success in NM, TX and Arizona, CC moved back to Colorado for a time. Once again a resident of Las Cruces, CC is looking forward to what is next in her long and interesting career.
