  • Looking East and Downtown Las Cruces 1915
    The white two-story building is now the site of the Las Cruces Sun News. The smokestacks mark the location of Las Cruces Electric Light and Ice Co. St. Genevieve's Church is in the background.
  • Main Street, Las Cruces 1919
    Looking south on Main, from the intersection of Organ Ave. The building in the left foreground housed a grocery store and The Ehle Hotel. On the right, the First National Bank and Peoples Drugstore.
  • Santa Fe Railroad Depot 1901
    The photo is dated March 25, 1901. The depot stood at the intersection of Las Cruces Avenue and Mesilla Street. In 1910, the depot which stands today, was built.
  • Mesilla 1900
    Looking west along Calle de Santiago. The Church in the background was replaced by the present San Albino Church in 1906. The houses visible on the right side of the photo still remain. Rio Grande Historical Collection
