'Ancient Thor’s Hammer' by Windlass
Norse mythology says He gave the hammer to Thor, and said, 'Smite as hard as desired, whatsoever may be before him, and the hammer would not fail. And, if thrown at anything, it would never miss, and never fly so far, as not to return to his hand.' This simple design of Thor’s hammer evokes a time when giants walked the Earth. Our ancient version of Mjolnir has a solid aluminum head. This is not to say that this piece does not have some weight behind it! The dark stained shaft has a suede-wrapped handle with steel rings, while the opposite end has a steel wedge supporting the hammerhead. Suede lacing finishes off this piece. A round Viking shield wall plaque is included.
