About the Artist:
Sylvia A Hendrickson is a gourd artist, finding her love for gourds after moving to Las Cruces in 2007 and discovering buffalo gourds in the desert. Friends introduced her to more gourds and she was off and running. She uses carving, wood burning, dyes, ink, paint, beads, feathers, leather, pine needles and a variety of other natural products.
