Description

Original Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786-1864) Japanese Woodblock Print

Beautiful Triptych depicts the young Prince Genji and a group of beauties gathering spring herbs at the water's edge. In the center a woman kneels down, carefully picking the young greens and placing them in a small basket.

At right, a beauty shades her eyes to watch a group of cranes. Genji enjoys the outing smiling happily down at a young girl at his side. She is beautifully dressed in an elegant kimono, her hair decorated with a floral ornament. A lovely Design with a beautiful landscape setting and wonderful detail in the Intricately detailed fabrics.

Good. With Excellent color and detail as shown.
