About the Artist:
William Moyers, a member and three-time president of the Cowboy Artists of America, was known for his depictions of the "Old West." A painter and sculptor with a rich background in illustration, Moyers resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He spent his formative years learning ranch life in Colorado and financed his education through ranch work. After studying art at Adams State College and the Otis Art Institute of Los Angeles, Moyers found success illustrating western classics for national publications before devoting himself to his own detailed and inspiring works capturing the essence of the West. He passed away on May 3, 2010.
