About the Artist:
Shirley Streid Smith, a professional artist since 1979, fell in love with the landscapes of New Mexico after visiting her parents in Las Cruces. Graduating from the Famous Artists School in 1970, she moved to Santa Fe, where she exclusively paints landscapes in oils, inspired by the region's beauty. Shirley's work has been showcased in exhibitions across the United States and internationally, drawing patrons from California to New Jersey, Canada to Texas, as well as Spain and Japan. She is a member of the Santa Fe Artists' League and has participated in exhibitions with the Santa Fe Society of Artists, cherishing the connections made with her clients. In her professional signature, she combines her maiden and married names.
