This 1960's Navajo Concho Belt features ten oval scalloped silver conchas (Plus the Buckle!), each adorned with stamped and applied accents and set with 21 cabochons of stunning natural turquoise, finished with a conforming buckle. With more than 230 individually set turquoise stones, this vintage belt is a timeless collector’s piece.

  • Unmarked Sterling, Tested
Unsigned, but has the appearance of the early work of Victor Moses Begay, who began in the 1950's.
  • (10) 2.2" X 2.4" Conchos
Each with 21 Bezel Set Natural Turquoise Stones
Buckle with 22 Bezel Set Turquoise Stones, Fastened to the Belt with a Leather Tie
Each concho has a copper belt loop

About the Leather Belt:
Most leather concho belts are quite adjustable. You can adjust them to fit a smaller waist by punching additional holes in the leather. You can slide the conchos along the the leather to adjust their spacing closer together or farther apart. You could even remove one or more conchos if you want to make the belt very short. Also you could cut excess leather off the tail end of the belt. To make a belt larger, you can purchase a leather belt of the proper length and put the conchos and buckle on the new belt.

Condition:
Good, We'll Leave The Polishing To You (We leave the natural patina on our vintage jewelry because many of our customers like the old "vintage" appearance.) All stones are firmly set with no cracks, chips or missing pieces; even bright patina; supple leather with no cracking
