Description

Zuni Eagle Dancer Bolo Tie
Crafted by the late lapidary artists Helen and Lincoln Zunie, renowned Zuni artisans, this piece exemplifies their prolific work in intricate inlay creations. Using stones such as turquoise, shell, mother of pearl, and black onyx, combined with sterling silver, the Zunies specialized in depicting images of Hereford bulls and horse profiles. Their peak production occurred during the mid-20th Century, aligning with the Western aesthetic that was popular at the time.
