Huge Ammonite Fossil
This Fossilized Shell Used To Be The Home Of A Prehistoric Squid Between 240 And 65 Million Years Ago In The Age Of The Dinosaurs. The Name Is Derived From The Egyptian God Ammon Which Is Often Depicted With Horns Which Resemble The Shape Of These Artifacts. Their Spiral Shape Is Also Interesting Because Of Its Perfect Proportions Which Are Also Found In The So Called Golden Section Which Inspired Artists Since Cave Art.
