OJ Simpson 1970's Card
O.J. Simpson--the 1968 Heisman Trophy winner--appears on this superb '72 Topps offering.
One of the preeminent offensive forces of the 1970s, Simpson was the first overall pick in the 1969 NFL Draft after an accolade-laden collegiate career as USC. As a professional, he led the NFL in rushing yards four times and rushing touchdowns twice while accumulating five First-Team All-Pro selections and the 1973 NFL MVP Award. Simpson is one of only eight players to rush for 2,000 yards in a single season; he was the first athlete to accomplish this feat, and the only one to do it in the league's previous 14-game format.

Good. Stored in protective holder.
This vibrant, essentially uncirculated Simpson depiction is brimming with vintage 1970s flavor; the central image of the great running back is clear and precise, while the card's corners and edges exhibit a nearly untouched character.
