1930's Indian Sanitorium Handicraft Plates
The Indian Sanitorium in Albuquerque, NM was constructed in 1934 to treat Pueblo people with Tuberculosis. As part of vocational rehabiliatation, these plates were created and sold by the patients. The plates are visible in this 1939 photograph. These plates are part of the collection of Rousseau H. Flower and a Certificate of Authenticity will accompany them.
