Vintage African Hand-Carved Wooden Sculptures, Set of 2
These two African hand-carved sculptures are really beautiful and well done carvings. They were purchased by longtime Cloudcroft residents (and our dear friends) Arlene and Rex Gygax on one of their numerous excursions around the globe. Rex, a naval officer for many years, and his wife Arlene traveled extensively throughout their long lives. They had memorabilia from most of their travels, and these two cool carvings were among those keepsakes. Arlene and Rex's daughters Tere Gygax and Jennifer Green (also dear friends) were very kind to donate these lovely sculptures to help 1CaT, and we are very grateful. Check out the various photos to see different angles of the two wonderful African carvings. We estimate these sculptures to be valued at around $100.
