"Lamy Church", Vintage Original Oil Painting on Canvas, Framed, by Jean Makela
This vintage framed original oil painting on canvas was purchased from the artist many years ago (c. 1975?) by our dear friend Lynne Skinner. The painting remained in Lynne's extensive art collection until she passed in 2020. Lynne's stepdaughter Marcy Loy kindly donated two of Lynne's art pieces to 1CaT, and for this we are very grateful. We could find no information online about the artist Jean Makela or any of her art, but some artist friends estimate this painting's value $300-$500.

Jean Makela, Peña Blanca, NM
In 1975, when our friend Lynne Skinner bought this original oil painting from the artist, Jean Makela was residing in Peña Blanca, NM. Unfortunately, we could find no information online about Jean.
Condition:
Good - the paper on the back of the frame has a few holes. Otherwise, the painting and frame seem to be in great condition.
