Hand-thrown Ceramic Platter with Decorative Stamp by Amy Ewing
This cool platter was created by our friend Amy Ewing. Fairly new ceramic artist Amy hasn't been creating that long, but she was very kind and donated a piece of her art to help 1CaT, and we are grateful. The beautiful blue glaze color is not truly represented in the photo -- the lovely blue is much nicer in person. The bold stamp that Amy chose compliments the platter's shape and edge design nicely. Amy is new to ceramics, and while she enjoys the wheel, she has found she likes the creativity of hand building even more. Amy says playing with clay is the perfect distraction from the screen time of her job.
