Skor-Mor "Trinary" 3-D Tic-Tac-Toe Game, No. 570, 1970s
A complete copy of Trinary: Dimensions Beyond Tic Tac Toe, manufactured by Skor-Mor Products, Inc. (a Nypro Co.) of Clinton, Massachusetts. The set uses three stacked clear acrylic playing planes mounted on a curved Lucite stand, creating a 27-block field for play across horizontal, vertical, and diagonal axes in three dimensions. Playing pieces are interlocking Xs and Os in alternating silver and gold finishes, designed to stand upright on the plates.
Skor-Mor produced a run of sleek acrylic strategy games in the 1970s aimed at the adult market — coffee-table objects as much as games, with the same clear-and-metallic visual language that defined Lucite barware and décor of the era. Includes the original printed assembly and rules sheet and the pink display box marked No. 570.
CONDITION
Good and complete. Adult-owned with light play wear to the metallic finish on some pieces. Box shows minor storage wear including a torn paper area to one end panel.
