Live Tree Philodendron — 54" Spread, Plastic Planter, Rolling Dolly
A mature, trunk-bearing Tree Philodendron (Philodendron bipinnatifidum) native to the subtropical forests of South America — and one of the most architecturally commanding houseplants in cultivation. The species grows wider than it grows tall, and this specimen's 54" canopy spread tells the story plainly: deeply lobed, glossy leaves up to several feet across radiate outward on long arching petioles from a visible woody trunk base, the hallmark of an established plant that has been growing for years. That trunk is not a cosmetic detail — it represents root mass, time, and the kind of presence no small nursery specimen can replicate. Foliage is uniformly deep green and healthy throughout, with a wooden support stake in place.
The lot includes the plant, plastic planter, and a black metal rolling plant dolly with caster wheels — a practical necessity for relocating a specimen this size.
CONDITION Very Good. Foliage is full and healthy with no visible pest damage or significant leaf loss across the canopy. A small number of leaf tips show minor browning consistent with normal growth cycling.
