Description

Robert & Jennie Dewa Zuni Sterling Silver Inlay Watch Tips w/ Seiko Watch

Presented here is a pair of signed Zuni sterling silver watch tips by artisans Robert & Jennie Dewa. Each tip displays fine channel inlay work with turquoise, mother of pearl, spiny oyster shell, and jet, arranged in a bold floral motif. The Dewas are recognized among Zuni silversmiths for their precise stone cutting and harmonious color arrangements, and signed examples of their work are increasingly desirable to collectors of Native American jewelry.

The tips are currently mounted with a Seiko 5 Automatic wristwatch, providing a complete, wearable presentation. While the artistic value lies in the silverwork, the included Seiko offers functionality and additional collector appeal.

Condition

Good overall. Stones are secure with strong color and no losses noted. Sterling silver retains natural patina; polishing has been left to the buyer. The Seiko watch runs, but the crystal is damaged and the case shows age-related wear.
