This offering features a Series 1976 $2 Federal Reserve Note from the Kansas City District (J), serial number J17006914A. The note bears the familiar portrait of Thomas Jefferson on the obverse and John Trumbull’s Declaration of Independence vignette on the reverse. Issued during America’s Bicentennial, this was the first $2 note reintroduced into circulation since 1929.
