Signed R> for Richard & Geneva Terrazas, this Zuni/Mexican cobblestone inlay ring is a vibrant example of mid-20th century Southwestern artistry. The oval face is set with hand-cut stones including turquoise, red coral, spiny oyster shell, and mother of pearl, each precisely fitted in the raised “cobble” inlay technique for which the Terrazas are known. This husband-and-wife team blended Zuni and Mexican influences, producing highly collectible jewelry that remains sought after today.
The ring weighs 10.41 grams and measures approximately 1.11" x 0.89" x 0.85" overall, with a face of .83" x .46" and a rise of .23".
